Exhibiting at LGPro Annual Conference

LGPro is the peak body for Local Government professionals in Victoria, they develop and deliver high quality professional development activities and services. Fifth Ocean technologies is LGPro’s corporate partner.
The LGPro Annual Conference is the premier conference for people working in Local Government in Victoria, it attracts around 700 delegates. It was an excellent platform to promote our local government solution and services - we’ve bought the exhibitor package.
This year LGPro went with a new format, open space against booth, and in our opinion it worked better. Fifth Ocean Technologies had a perfect exhibition space that gave us direct access to delegates attending the Conference, our bright posters couldn’t be missed.
It was for the first time that Fifth Ocean was an exhibitor at a local government conference and it was successful. We went to the Conference with two offerings – Local government Application portal and DT Accelerator program.
There was a definite interest in our solutions and we had quite a few brief but interesting discussions about the state of application processes in Victorian councils. What we learned: leave the selling for later, delegates and exhibitors want to be at a conference to learn, not to be sold to, contact them when they are in the working frame of mind.
